ALIBI Privacy Policy

Your game data

Cases, typed answers, transcripts, evidence, progress, profile name, and settings are stored locally on your device. Interrogations and AI inference run on-device after model setup. ALIBI does not operate a cloud AI service, user account system, advertising network, or analytics backend, and does not transmit your interrogation transcripts to an AI provider.

Connections used by the app

The initial model download connects to Hugging Face and its file delivery providers. These services receive ordinary network information, including your IP address and the requested file, under their own privacy policies. See Hugging Face's privacy policy.

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit on iOS. Apple processes payment and account information under Apple's privacy policy. ALIBI reads verified subscription status and stores a local entitlement record to enable access, including limited offline access. ALIBI does not receive your payment card details.

Support messages

If you email support, Matthew Newman receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. This information is used to respond to your request and is handled by the email service provider. Do not include Apple account credentials, payment details, or private interrogation transcripts. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing xxmnewman9xx@gmail.com.

Retention and deletion

Your game record remains on your device until you remove app data or uninstall the app. ALIBI does not provide account-based synchronization or its own cloud backup. Apple may independently handle device backups and diagnostics according to your system settings. The downloaded model directory is excluded from iCloud backup. The browser preview stores its rehearsal record in that browser's local storage; clearing site data removes it.

Permissions and tracking

ALIBI does not request microphone, camera, contacts, or location access. The app contains no advertising tracking SDK.
